DER FOTO + STYLING WORKSHOP IN HAMBURG
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Du liebst Food und möchtest lernen, wie du ästhetische Food-Fotos stylst und fotografierst? In meinem Foto+Styling Workshop nehme ich dich mit – von der Idee bis zum fertigen Motiv. Kurs-Inhalte sind Konzeption, Prop-Hunting, Food und Still Life Styling, das Arbeiten mit Fokus, Bewegung, natürlichem Licht und – last but not least – die Foodfotografie. Wir arbeiten im Workshop mit einem schönen Fundus an Requisiten (Geschirr, Besteck, Textilien, Untergründe) / You are a foodie and wanna learn how to capture food on camera and style your own food settings? In my PHOTO+STYLING workshop I help you to get the right shot. We’ll begin with moodscouting and prop hunting. Then I’ll guide you through the styling process and how to work with natural light, focus, movement. Finally we’ll photograph the final setting. You’ll have the chance to work with a lovely selection of props and backgrounds.
ABLAUF / DETAILS
Beginn: 10 Uhr. Dauer: circa 6 Stunden. Ort: Hamburg … Wir treffen uns morgens in einem Hamburger Café zum gemeinsamen Kaffee, Kennenlernen und Brainstorming. Anschließend besorgen wir frische Styling-Zutaten auf einem Hamburger Wochenmarkt. In meinem Workshop-Raum in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel geht es dann an das Food-Styling. Wir setzen unseren Layer Cake zusammen und stylen ihn mit unseren Einkäufen vom Markt. Anschließend kreiieren wir Settings, in denen wir den Layer Cake fotografieren. / Starting at 10am. Duration: about 6 hours. First we’ll meet at a lovely café to get to know each other and brainstorm about the upcoming shooting day. Afterwards we’ll visit a local farmers market to buy fresh ingredients for our cake styling. At my studio in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel we’ll jump right into the styling process. We will build and style the layer cake, followed by creating different settings for the photo.
VORAUSSETZUNGEN / REQUIREMENTS
Eine eigene Kamera mit Standard-Zoomobjektiv, wenn möglich auch Objektive mit Festbrennweite. Foto-Niveau: ambitionierter Anfänger bis fortgeschritten. Requisiten und Untergründe sind vorhanden. / You’ll need a DSLR or similar camera with a standard lens. If available, bring other lenses. A bit of experience in photography or advanced level. No need to bring photo props/backgrounds.

Gruppen-Workshops finden in kleinem, persönlichen Rahmen mit maximal 3 Teilnehmern statt. 1 Getränk im Café ist im Preis enthalten. Je nach Teilnehmerbackground findet der Workshop in deutscher und/oder englischer Sprache statt. / Group size: maximum 3. One beverage at the coffee shop is included. Depending on the language background, the workshop may be taught in German and/or English.
